Is Kolli injured? If not, how does a good young player not make the bench Infront of a **** player coming to the end of his career in Frey?? It really is a tombola by stephan
Oh well. More evidence that with the possible exception of Coventry all the teams in this league are at about the same level of crapness, capable of beating each other alternately until the end of time.
Too slow today, no urgency, couldn’t put two passes together and wrong starting line up. Would t rate any player more than 3/10. Feel bad for the travelling fans.
Extra disappointing because Norwich would have been at an all time low and feeling nervous coming into this match with our decent form over the last two games. All we had to do tonight was pile the pressure on from the start, play like the home team in form, peg them back. They would have crumbled again. Instead, we stood off them, gave them loads of room and time to start feeling good about themselves. Not sure what the gameplan was but I can't blame the manager more than the players because the players were simply not getting any of the basics right today. I even saw Stephane trying to encourage the team to push up on several occasions. 2nd worst day at the office this season.
Stephane needs to get a grip, player selection drawn from a hat ain't going to work 15th looking cosy and welcoming again Championship Dark Horses my arse
We had the same team from Wednesday, apart from the keeper who was injured? JS he's now a tinkerman for not being a tinkerman! Probably read all our threads about messing about too much, so kept same outfield 10. Guy can't win
Inside we all knew we would lose today. 6pts from last 3 games Is an ok return though. Never dreamed of getting anything at Blackburn.
I couldn't see what the gameplan was either. I thought the line up was ok, just we played like you would on an ice rink
Saw the first 10 and last 20 minutes and that was poor. They seemed more concerned to hold on to the ball than actually trying to work an opportunity. On that showing we have not improved one jot since last season and there are players who should not be playing yet seem to get picked week in week out. As has been said, the attitude was wrong. They should have stamped their authority on a team bereft of confidence from the start but instead stood off and let them win every ball. I can see no good excuses for that.
Well, from a distance, that appears to be a load of codswallop! My anatomy of the game (based on goals), we give up a silly early goal, get right back into the game (Burrell appears to be real opportunistic goal scorer for us), then concede a silly own goal, heads down mentally, we then give up another goal (3-1 so match basically over, and we play out the rest of the game to a stalemate, or was that the Canaries being merciful). So we are indeed a Charity team, our dear patron saint of lost causes, St. Jude, spreading the word and goodwill. Would Ben Hamer in goal have made a difference, is it a concussion injury? Is he less of a "flapper" than Nardi & Walsh? Does he "control" our defence better?
Hands up, it's all my fault - been guessing us to lose last couple of games, which we won. so had us down for a win today....just knew it would backfire!
