agree with sky, Ajayi #1 may not be as good as Hughes on the ball but as an out and out defender he is ****ing immense. Pandur 2, we could have been well out of it at HT coyle 3, for that tackle alone. Big time recognition for Sergei too, whatever he said at HT really ****ing worked, the lads who came on all upped it too, so glad to see Lundstrum back on the pitch, proper leader in midfield
Well ground out City . 1. Ajayi - a rock at the back and a GOAL. 2. Pandur - alot better than Tuesday. He kept us in the game with some great saves . 3. Gelhardt- tricky going forward and a well taken goal Well done boys . Stoke are a dirty set of moaners . Come on City
1. Pandur - Some very good saves in the first half to keep us in it. 2. Ajayi - Looked decent at the back, good finish for the goal too. 3. Gelhardt - Could easily have put one if the subs in the top 3, but Joe gets another goal & creates plenty of problems the whole game.
Ajayi Pandur Belloumi Mentions for Geldhart, Lundstrum,Coyle. Giles. Second half stopped the Bully Boys Stoke. BillyB
Gelhardt - Only attacking threat first half. Match winner second. Egan - Thought he was outstanding second half after struggling in the first (as they all did). Coyle - Goal saving tackle. Another who was a player transformed second half. Special mentions to Ajayi and Belloumi too.
Ajeyi Pandur Belloumi Honourable mentions for Coyle and Gelhardt, and an excellent cameo from Famewo who locked down our creaking left side when he came on.
1. Coyle. Proper captains performance and one fabulous goal saving tackle. 2. Egan. 3. Geldhart. Mentions for Pandur, Ajayi who had a stinker first half and a MOTM performance in the second, and Crooks who is the middle of everything good for us. .
