Match Day Thread Stoke ****ty v Hull City

That was painful to watch. Looks like the wrong team selection again. No midfield, nothing up front, and a dodgy back four.
Stonewall penalty denied because the ref was behind play but that aside we haven't looked like scoring.
Stoke are nothing special either but we gifting them this game.
Formation and attitude HAS to change for the second half or we are looking at a hammering here.

See if we can get a half out of Belloumi and try Gelhardt at 10. Drop Crooks deeper alongside Slater/Gyabi.

 

That financial forward momentum won't arrive til summer, we simply need our best players on the pitch to compete, these lads have done well to date, given their limitations but I'm afraid they're looking leggy right now.

 

I'm not sure what Destan is supposed to do without the ball, but when he has had it he's mostly hung on to it and found a team mate. Contrast to Joseph on Tuesday. Also, if we do get a chance, Destan is more likely to finish it than any alternative until McBurnie is back.

 

Can’t believe the coaches have watched Stoke and not figured their plan , plus we all know Robbins sides , he buys strong and mobile players they are not over skilful but v functional and will push you off the ball like he did .
