Will united take the Europa cup seriously? And do you want us to?

I think we will take it as seriously as we have to (FIFA rules etc) don't thin fergie would be too unhappy to be out early. but then he hasn't won that trophy with us .

I would much rather we put all of our attentions on the league and fa cup.

 

I don't give a **** about the Europy League.

 

Its only a potential 9 games so we might as well

It will depend on other factors IMO.If we are still in contention for the PL and FA Cup they will take precedent
but just like the league cup the further we advance the more seriously we will take the comp.

While I dont rate the competition and niether do UEFA or they would play the games on a Wed rather than sell it out for the extra £500 channel 5 pay to show it, making its scheduling a big inconvienience to its participants domestic campaign and therfore see them treating the comp with contempt, it is another chance to watch United play and I have stayed up to all hours to watch pre season friendlies, so I will tune in to cheer the lads on.

I think the reason they don't play on the Wednesday is to give complete precedence to the CL. Which again makes a big mockery of Platini's claims that the EL is a great comp and not just a second rate CL imitation...
