The OBR are to blame but what a shambles. That’s on top of the Government running various possible Budget policies up the flagpole and down again for weeks beforehand. But as usual, it’s the workers’ taxes subsidising the idle. Freezing tax allowances for even more years is increased taxation whichever way you look at it and a breach of their manifesto promise not to increase income tax. I don’t get this Two Child limit thing either. It was introduced in April 2017 and children born in that year are now 8. Why have people gone on banging out kids they can’t afford for 8 years? It’s morally irresponsible as well as financially irresponsible to bring kids into the world that you can’t give a reasonable standard of living. I can see there’s an issue with new families coming together with multiple kids when both parties have previously been divorced. The simple answer to that is to allow both parents to claim for two children they have custody of. That would allow 4 children to be supported in newly combined family units.
I've always wondered what happens when having twins to total three children in total....one gets an allowance the other doesn't....doesn't sound fair.
Great news https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c75vwevr652o and worse, that it wasn't necessary https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cyvg3en12r1o
I'm probably like a lot of folk these days in that I don't even bother to listen to budgets anymore. Grounds being I still have to pay whatever I'm told whether I agree with it or not and despite having the vote cannot change the fact that whoever is deciding on this years robery will do it anyway.
What a sad world we live in these days............ Mrs Plym and I where on our way home in a busy Bromley yesterday at about 5.30pm. Mrs Plym tripped over the pavement and went down quite heavily.....fortunately she didn't break any thing.....badly grazed her hand that she tried to save herself with....blood everywhere and eventually bad bruising developed on her fingers. Naturally she was quite winded and shaken up and laid there for two or three minutes to gain her breath. There where lots of people on there way home etc.....BUT not one person showed any interest in an elderly person laying on the pavement obviously in pain. I think Mrs Plym found that more hurtful than the injuries she suffered in the fall. As I said......What a sad world we live in these days.
