Obviously I am please for him and I hope he does well, however.... Does anyone know how many of our players are expected to be away during the African Cup of Nations in December - January? I know it will affect all clubs but with our limited squad it could potentially have huge impact
Chair perhaps, though I don’t think he’s in Morocco’s squad. Kolli perhaps for Algeria Kone perhaps for Ivory Coast Mbengue has played at junior level for Senegal Poku has played for Ghana And Smith for South Africa Not sure if these countries have qualified and if they have whether out players will be selected.
Just had a look and would appear Ghana aren’t there which must be rare. Chair may have just about played his way in but I would say is unlikely. Kone will probably get in and not play a lot and similar for Kolli. Would say the others are unlikely with my plethora of African football knowledge.
