A couple of weeks ago I was a bottle of red wine down on a Friday evening & it didn't quite do the job , went to Trsco & Johnny Walker black label was on special from £38 to £23 . Drank the entire thing straight with ice smoked an 1/8 of Cali until about 5am. Had a 3 day hangover & took a few days more to recover. My whiskey days may well be behind me , on the plus side I haven't done coke for years or have any numbers or it would have got out of hand . Sticking to weekends to drink & avoiding the hard stuff is the way forward, I'm not ready to completely quit booze as it's impossible to eat a nice roast or steak without a glass or 6 of wine. Beer is **** , most of it is brewed here & tastes like **** now . The weed is getting ridiculously strong now & you don't get hangovers so I won't be giving that up anytime soon. The thought of getting ****ed up on party drugs is not at all tempting either .
I only drink red , white wine plays havoc with acid reflux . Weed cookies maybe, nobody sells hash anymore
As long as it comes with the obligatory multi-coloured umbrella and sparkler in a tall slim elegant glass. Us wooftahs have our standards
About 10 years ago my Google Practitioner prescribed Omeprazole for acid reflux and it has worked a treat. Since i was a teenager (12 years ago) I had severe acid reflux which would last for hours, it was stripping the enamel off my teeth. My heart goes out to women that suffer with it during pregnancy, must be horrendous!!. The thing is it was all the foods I loved that caused it, citrus fruits, cheese, peanuts. Now I can eat whatever I like
