Just buy one ticket and then ask for some more.

Supermarkets, who are making millions, who won't put the heating on in their stores.

Bonus for them: they probably don't need to switch on their fridges.

Happy to see customers shopping in coats with their gloves on.

This is all good capitalist stuff. Maximize profit, minimise cost.

But have a heart for your own employees.

They shouldn't be stacking shelves on minimum wage (even with today's increase) wearing a scarf and a ****ing wooly hat.

**** their own employees, those doing the shopping for those ****s who are too lazy to go to the shop themselves.
The other day 4 of the ****ers in the same aisle each with one of those box carrying trolley things blocking the whole place. Absolutely no spatial awareness or consideration for those of us who do our own shopping.

Never noticed the shop temperature though, I was getting a bit hot under the collar.

Then they expect you to scan your trolley yourself on self service tills. It's only a matter of time before they expect us to stack the shelves as well.

It's all there if you want it. We only get our fruit, veg, eggs etc from Coniston farm shop. All meat from Jones in Preston. Fish from a fishmonger etc.
We go in Asda for cleaning products, alcohol and that's about it. Food quality is a million times better and you know your money is appreciated.

They still exist in the UK, right? You had to queue to get parking in the town or city centre, then queue in each shop to get served, and also get there early enough before they sold out of their stock - waste of a couple of hours each Saturday - convenience and time saving won. You've got a great selection of food and products in the UK - a huge range of price and quality, from the dirt cheap, toxic **** to excellent - food from around the world and a high quality selection of local produce and imported fresh. And most of the decent local stuff can be reserved and ordered online, so you don't have to drive out to the countryside to pick it up. Not sure why anyone would moan about UK food shopping - you got it better than most others.

We had thousands of shops where people worked every day , the shops paid tax , bought from local merchants who also paid tax and the van drivers weren’t in unmarked white vans . The shoppers would tour shops and buy other goods and cook wholesome unprocessed food to ‘fuel’ the kids , that’s what it was - fuel . McDonald’s etc didn’t exist so the kids didn’t get addicted to salt and sugar. People got off their arses and walked , met people and had conversations , bought with cash therefore more social cohesion and discourse , bought what they could afford - so whilst the choice of foods is great it gave rise to a takeaway driven diet full of chemicals , the whole lot driven by global business and huge chains benefiting just a few .
Whilst I like many enjoy a variety of flavours I don’t think the benefits should be just the taste and a bit of additional sat on your arse tv or internet viewing.
