They play tonight too so a day less to recover and prepare. Albeit they're playing Sheffield Wednesday so will have the chance to build up a little bit of confidence.

Edit: I just looked at the table and if they win tonight they could move up into 4th. Mental.

As well as this game we play Birmingham twice in December plus have two games against relegation battle sides (oxford / norwich). A real chance to really swap the season around before the window opens plus a chance to put a marker down if we beat coventry too.

Both Millwall first choice full backs injured (Leonard - Sturge), plus reserve LB suspended (Bryan).

Yeah on paper it looks like an easy win, but I reckon Millwall will play very deep and pack their own box. Could be quite frustrating if we don’t get an early goal.

Could do with them getting a confidence boosting win tonight really. Weird thing to say just before we play them but it might suit us more I think.

My team would be Stephen’s in for Quashie and Bragg for Downes (suspended) but leave the rest alone unless there is a sneak injury

A Pompey defeat tonight will make things interesting. I think Sheff Utd will push clear of rhe relegation zone. For me , the relegation zone will be occupied by Wed , Norwich and Oxford. I feel Pompey will improve as soon as their injury crisis is over but fun letting them sweat before Christmas.

Bugger. Got taken off in the previous game first half because of his hamstring.

    Some Millwall Haikus

    Tough reputation
    Den of Lions, allegedly.
    More like pussy cats

    Leo Scienza
    Terrorising their defence
    Beautiful to watch

    THB for short
    Far too many syllables
    To use his full name

    Flynn Downes suspended
    But will be more effective
    Than Damion Downs

    They're 4th, 2 points off second with -4 GD <laugh>

Even with their injuries and poor form until last nights win, they're still up there and the Den is a tough place to go. We have to earn the win, it won't just happen because we are in good form. Feels like a banana skin kind of game this one. Everyone was anticipating Charlton and Leicester being tough games and not really thinking too much about this one. Its exactly the type of game Saints usually slip up in.
