We need to rest a few I feel. Chelsea is more of a priority than this game.

    Raya
    White
    Mosquera
    Hincapie
    MLS
    Norgaard
    Rice
    Martinelli
    Eze
    Saka
    Merino

Take off Eze, Rice and Saka at half time for Nwaneri, Trossard and Madueke.

I just don't see Arteta making this many changes against a team that is probably the best team in Europe right now.

Also, this is the type of game where the best players will want to play and prove themselves on the biggest stage against European giants.

Bayern have won literally every single game this season bar one (a 2-2 draw). I'm sure the manager and team will be relishing the opportunity to hand them their first defeat and make a statement.

There's no way he's rotating heavily for this. No chance.

Also, I want us to get one over that ex-Spurs muppet Harry Kane. He had to watch us destroy his beloved Spurs yesterday and I am hoping we can double his misery by getting one over Bayern as well.

Well yeah, I don’t think Arteta WILL rotate at all. But I feel like Timber and Calafiori are on thin ice. At least change the full backs.

This is a game we should win - we'll be favourites. Need to keep focus, though, given the CL has been easy for us so far.
Certainly our biggest game in the competition so far.

I would go with the strongest team.
There is far more risk with breaking momentum with a loss than there is to players being fatigued for a game 4 days later.

    Embarrassing performance so far.
    Pretty humiliating

Saka, Trossard Merino and Eze have been pathetic in the final 3rd

    HT 1-1
    Bayern have completely outplayed us.
Happy to be 1-1 after that.

MLS is a liability at FB at this level
Our front 3 and Eze have fluffed every dangerous opening for us in the final 3rd with bad touches, passes. All awful.

Need to play much better in the second half.
We are certainly capable but look afraid of Bayern. Time to grow a pair.

Hoping for a much better - 100% better - second half.

Zubi has cut off all supply to Kane today.

Absolutely superb second half by us.
    What a difference.
    Rice superb.
    Califiori class
Martinelli is absolute class and one if the deadliest forwards in world football.
    Shout out to Madueke too.

Bayern blown away in that second half.
we went to a level they could never hope to match.

Superb. This BAYERN side hadn't lost a game this Season.

Declan Rice is a different class honestly.

Subs made an impact coming on as well.

Top of the League and now Top of the Champions League. Great stuff.

I hope Arteta gives Madueki plenty of gametime now.

Saka is being overplayed - he hasn't been at his best for quite a while. Now we can rest him.

We have two options for almost every position.. the only player we don't have a quality replacement for is Rice. Perhaps in January a quality Number 8 would be the best signing we could make.

Saka was awful tonight - but he's been good this season.
Just tonight he was off it, so was Trossard.
Madueke is definitely a right sided player - he looks far better there than when is on the left.

I do agree that Madueke needs game time , though - he was good before the injury and now he comes back with a vital goal.
    Deserves game time.

I actually think we have a left back issue. Califiiori is excellent , but MLS is really not very good in that position. He's not a reliable back up in games where opponents will have a decent amount of possession. MLS is a midfielder all day long.

What a brilliant performance and result.

I've been holding back on saying this, but I'm just going to do it - right now, as it stands, we are the best team in Europe. We are top of the hardest league in the world and top of the Champions League table. There is no arguing with those facts.

Let's not forget that Bayern had been unbeaten and won every single game bar one in every competition.
They'd already beaten Chelsea and PSG earlier.

We totally blitzed them in that second half.

The first half was a bit tetchy and cagey, as I think we were trying to adjust to such a tactically dominant side. Once we found our bearings and starting to co-ordinate our M2M press better, they couldn't lay a glove on us.

I can only recall Raya making one save the whole game.

Rice and Zubimendi were both exceptional in that midfield. Eze had a really good game too. Merino did his job especially considering his limitations. Mosquera and Saliba were immense. Timber his usual excellent self. The only weak point was Lewis-Skelly - thought he looked vulnerable against Olise, but tried his best and held his own. Calafiori was outstanding when he came on.

Onto the main event against Chelsea this Sunday. We are 2 for 2. If we can make it 3 for 3, we could be in for a very special and historic season on the horizon - operative word being 'could'.

I can't wait, though. Bring it on!!!
