I just got killed 5 minutes ago. 66 in hand 699 on flop. I bet big, he raises, I'm all in he calls. Then came 5 and 3. I'm full 66699 he's holding 93. Tourny over.
When he raised you after the big bet with the sixes it should have had you thinking that he perhaps had a 9, which in reality was all he needed. Still, if you're commited to the pot there's not a lot you can do especially if it was heads up.
For him to raise $1 with AK, you were probably playing a 25/50cent cash game. Needless to say, only a proper **** could lose $55 with A5 in that sort of game. Or if he's minimum raising with AK - tell me where the **** is playing so I can clean him out!!
I was in position, 3 bet what looked like a weak raise, called the flop with top pair, had to call the turn with trips and then made one of the all time great laydowns on the river
yes, thats kinda what makes it a good laydown sorry a great laydown, possibly one of the greatest of all time
This is why I don't play poker...I don't understand why it is good to have lost, is it because you made the call at the stage you did rather than getting proper turtled about two cards down the line?
