Rough old budget that for working folk. Income tax, NI on pensions plus other smaller measures taking money away. Record tax on its way in this parliament.

Reeves had the look of someone playing their last card. Not sure she will last a whole lot longer tbh. In her press conference she misquoted her parties manifesto promise on no tax increases. Hopefully just knackered after the big day and OBR ballsing up. Would love to know how that happened mind - some people have ballsed up big time there.

 

Reeves is just the front for large team of economists in the background, she’s there to sell it to the people, staying on the Only Fools theme she’s like Nervous Nerys
