Not going to argue - they both depend on Giles' delivery!

Greaves went down like an absolute tart - rolling around the floor and claiming it was an elbow. Soon got up and was okay when Joff got booked - that was why he was getting booed for a while afterwards

I think McBurnie missing plays a big part, but on the point of the full backs, they'll often make the runs still and then not get picked for that pass anywhere near as much as previous.

I think people focusing on the attack not being as good when it was second best in the league, ahead of the more concerning defensive record, largely due to individual errors that we've still not cut out, is a bit odd. It's got to be the more pressing concern.

Injury ridden and lost to Ipswich, still 8th and a point of the playoffs. Wide open league and has been very entertaining so far.

Ajayi playing week in week out will certainly help, he looked a step above yesterday.

It’s 2 bad results in a row against 2 decent teams ffs. I’m just as guilty as some but **** me we don’t half have a topsy turvy fan base do we?

Going after 2nd and 3rd choice individuals when we're decimated by injuries seems a bit perverse too. We are exceeding expectations FFS.

It’s a bit daft, see where we are come Jan/Feb. Missing Lundstram/McBurnie/Millar massively they are all first rate championship players ffs.

They said on Sky it was his 4th, but then said one of the 4 was in the Carabao, so I think he's only on 3 with regard to suspension from a league game

Ipswich had a switch pass from defence to attacking midfield that took us 30 mins to figure. We didnt have any such pass from defence .

Also it seems every ‘wide’ man for us certainly on our left stands 25 yds in field allowing the goalie or backs an easy out ball . Hughes needs to be braver he’s a bit like Jones gets the ball and doesn’t look wide enough or the opposite way to the one he’s facing . Shota told KLP to take pictures so he knows where people are like Tom H and before that Bullard . Maybe I expect too much as he’s only been with a club about 13 years .

Perhaps he can tell Pandur to stop pissing about at goal kicks and boot it up the field instead of playing chicken...I noticed last night Hughes was standing next to Pandur for a goal kick and Pandur just welled it up front...And rightly so. We were losing at the time.

Joffy is a small bloke, he has to take off with his elbows high to get any elevation. He's bound to smack someone in the mush now and again. You'd think the refs would realise this, Greaves did go down like a £10 pro though.

I find it frustrating because it seems like you're just not allowed to win sometimes. Greaves is brilliant in the air and often attacking players won't even try to compete if they aren't strong in the air. Gelhardt got his approach perfect and did so well to match Greaves in the air, but then gets a foul and a yellow card basically for trying where a lot of players wouldn't have.

Similar with the Joseph one where he beat Greaves against all odds, with Greaves obviously the aggressor in making it physical and the ref gives a defensive free kick when Joseph had done so well to get around him the long way and surviving the contact. Again it just seems like the attacker isn't allowed to win. And then there's the ones in the corners where defenders can just fall on the ball and get an almost guaranteed free kick regardless of what the attacker actually does. Football's supposed to be a beautiful game but in those situations the outcome is basically predetermined and we all just have to play along pretending it's a fair contest.
