i dont know how he was at Bournemouth, but he's been awful at it here. If not for injuries no way would Miley have had all that game time 2 seasons ago. I dont' actually have much trust in our youth team, but if we get a favourable FAC draw, he needs to start blooding them.

 

We have some seriously quality youngsters but they'll all leave with most never getting a game

Yes he's "only" promising but he has what it takes to succeed and the only way that will happen is if he's given a chance.
He was in the bench against Manchester City on Saturday so wouldn't have been that unbelievable for him to be on the bench last night.

 

Totally agree just sack the most successful manager we've ever had,then bring in a lesser manager who MIGHT be successful,but then again the team could win the next couple of matches and the bedwetters would'nt be wetting the bed as much, until they get beat, so to stop the ****ing moaning they must win every game from now until the end of the season simples

 

Keep Howe but don't write another cheque. He battled hard for full control and has spent the most amount of money any Newcastle manager has had, so give him the season and see what happens.

I'd rather the result be either that be does well or that he goes out without any excuses.

 

Historically, this club has been awful at bringing through young players. So many were tipped as "the next big thing" in the youth team, but who made it.

 

Imo this is because managers look after themselves. They don't get time, they know it and they don't want to risk it.

 

The league is tight, not long ago Villa were in crisis mode and below us, 5 wins in 6 and they're sat in 4th place.
