Have a look at the Pertemps Qualifier at Market Rasen (13:55) Ron - I think the Skelton runner might catch your eye
The next Pertemps qualifier is upon us at Market Rasen today and C'est Different is a short-priced fav off a lowly mark of 109. He was last seen in February winning a novices handicap hurdle at Chepstow off 92 (escaping a penalty for his previous victory by running twice within 5 days) and is up 17lbs since then. He is still bottom weight by some way and has a 3lb claimer on his back for good measure. The Skeltons will be hoping to get Tranquil Sea qualified for the final after a pretty tame 6th in the Newbury qualifier (Lihyan finished 3rd). They've tinkered with his breathing and he wears a tongue tie so that should see him finish his race to better effect. Lihyan was a real eyecatcher at Newbury, finishing really strongly but left with nowhere to go after the last and he looks to be the one who can give C'est Different most to think about. Secret Trix can grab the 4th qualifying slot. 1. Lihyan 2. C'est Different 3. Tranquil Sea 4. Secret Trix
A wide-margin win for Wathnan's Organise at Southwell sees him get a 50/1 quote for the 2000 Guineas.
