Burn, Ramsey, Ramsdale and Elanga in seems certain.

Dunno if Gordon's fit yet, but I assume he'll be in if so

“It’s a decision for me to make overnight, and into tomorrow, to try and pick the best team to win this game but also protect them.”

    Straight from the Howeses mouth

Don’t get me wrong if anyone could guarantee the first choice squad are fit for the scousers mackems at the weekend, yeah they are all straight in the squad no questions.

We need 2/3 points from the remaining CL games to qualify for the playoffs at worse but three points needed in the next league games to keep the momentum in the league more in my humble opinion.

We're going to win both. But the aim has to be to win both.

I couldn't disagree more, every game is important for many reasons.

Hard to guess. Don’t really have like for like in 433, don’t really have the right players for 541. Couple will be out of position, hate Burn coming back in (though he’s a legend, not being awful) and hate Gordon up front, so we will see who’s going to struggle but hopefully City was a turning point.

Think it’s super important we win tonight.

Tonight is very important. Too many false dawns, we’ve only turned two less corners than Amorim so need to get it together.

You don't get many opportunities to rest players. Everton is a more important game... Only need top 24 in this **** format

Nah it's not. Performing on the big stage is where it's all at. Murphy could have played against Everton easily as an example

More important but with the money spent we have to demonstrate we can compete on a few fronts. In addition we have to perform away. City result has to be a platform, if they fail tonight it’s going to be more doubt to deal with.

Ultimately it's about getting through the league stage and more importantly staying in race for top 6 in the Pl.

We've got some breathing space in the CL and are hanging on by our whiskers in PL.

Any road I want to get wins in both, but I think the Everton game is more important at this juncture. It's possible we lose both whatever Howe does tbh I suppose.
