Update - Four weeks gone, ( halfway thru ) ........... Seemed to go backwards after the great results of the second week but in fairness, l'm doing some very phyiscal outdoor work, in the summer Oz heat, that a 64 year should not be doing, l guess. Anyway, the start of this week ( Monday & Tuesday ) the 'needles' have really kicked in and worked extremely well. Building an upmarket timber fence with 150 x 150mm x 3 metre posts, are not real lite to cart around. I take the 'needIes' Sunday thru to Thurday night, so 5 days on, 2 off ) ..... guess my only gripe so far is that some, not all, pain returns at times. Today, worked really hard, felt great all day until around 4pm, then some, not alot, but some pain returns. Keep in mind, l am riddled with arhritis all over so maybe l'm expecting a bit much. Anyway, halfway thru the treatment. Overall, still been a huge improvement & no side effects............. how long it last, l'm not sure. Cheers, Didley
I see David Cameron has shared his prostate cancer diagnosis, ok for him as he no doubt got immediate treatment as you would if you can afford it. I have been waiting 10 weeks for an ultrasound which I will have onThursday yet three years ago I had a similar situation and was seen in just over 3 weeks with a Sunday afternoon appointment. So much for waiting lists falling...
