I'm actually considering turning over to another match. Last time I did that for a Vikings game was the Denver comeback game I think. Maybe I'll wait until our next 3 and out.
Oh a missed another pick. I was hoping dropping him from both my fantasy teams would mean he'd do amazingly because sod's law, but apparently not. Actually got the chiefs colts on, so I can boo the chiefs to hopefully another loss
Apparently the 2026 draft QB class isn't great. So we're going to need a really high draft pick or hope Brosmer has something.
What were you both loving? I was watching the Falcons beat the Saints and missing Kirk. It's okay, we're going to bounce back! At some point
They won’t take a QB early in next years draft. Might take one later on, but I think they are far more likely to sign a veteran in free agency. Problem with that is no top QBs ever hit free agency, so you are getting the Darnold of this world who might get you to the playoffs, but almost certainly won’t win you a Super Bowl. Judging by the fans reactions I’ve seen online the fanbase hasn’t got the stomach for developing a QB. Seen some say they won’t watch if McCarthy is the starter next year and “we’re not used to 4/5 win seasons”. Well that’s what you generally have to do to win a Super Bowl because it gives you the best shot of finding a top QB. Sounds like the fanbase is the same as the owners and just happy being slightly better than average, winning enough games in the regular season to make the playoffs, but then get absolutely battered as soon as they play an actual contender. Start McCarthy all next year, best case he improves and can be the franchise QB. Worst case he carries on like he has and you end up picking top 5 and can draft someone else to replace him.
