Barnes is looking sharper even taking his goals away. He looked sharp before his weird injury and I'm wondering if it's just taken a good while to recover and get back to his best. It seemed an odd injury

Was a difficult one I thought. High and slightly behind him. Thought he did well to hit the bar to be honest. Although he should have got the earlier one on target though. Clear shooting chance.

But crying like a bitch is all I have? Seriously, that was a coming of age, “**** the haters” performance from Barnes tonight. Thats one of the best teams in the world and he could have had a hattrick, played really well. It was a “let’s sell Gordon” performance and huge respect to him, he’s not always looked comfortable and some players are just mentally different, but tonight he really shone.
You do realise he doesn't really have any haters apart from you? Injury aside, he's been an excellent signing.
Barnes is just a direct winger who scores goals. He doesn’t have much else in his locker apart from scoring goals. The second yesterday wasn’t easy and he improvised perfectly. He’s far better than Gordon right now. Gordon needs to shave his hair off.
