It’s why his pace dropped off a cliff, trying to fuel save. they should change the rule so that every car starts full, none of this under filling crap
Three Vegas GPs and all three have been better than average imo. Max drove a very controlled race, got the slightly better start and drew the error from Norris, then held off Russell, before getting a lead he never relinquished. Russell did a good solid job, as did Leclerc and Sainz. Antonelli’s drive was incredible, especially when you consider Hamilton’s race and their respective strategies. Piastri disappointing, I’d like to have seen some more fight from him. Other rookies, Hadjar solid, Bearman seemed to be all over the place on pace (as did Alonso - very much not a rookie!), Bortoleto looked like me when I try one of those F1 games.

The skid blocks on both cars were found after the race to be less than the minimum depth. The matter has been referred to the stewards but would normally result in disqualification. If they are thrown out of the race, Norris, who finished second to Red Bull's Max Verstappen, would be 24 points ahead of both the Dutchman and Piastri going into the penultimate race of the season in Qatar next weekend. Team principal Andrea Stella's post-race news conference has been delayed and no-one from the team was available to answer media inquiries. There are a maximum of 58 points available in the final two grands prix with Qatar being a sprint event. After Qatar, the final race follows in Abu Dhabi on 7 December..
Just went back to BBC page where your source was from and both McLarens disqualified for skid blocks under minimum.
Absolute horror show. Every time you think you're safe from Max winning again. Additional brutal truth. McLaren need to suck up their pride and implement team orders in Qatar, if the situation arises.
I woke to watch the race then went back to sleep. I dreamt that Lando was disqualified, when I then woke, lo and behold. Abu Dhabi may yet prove to be a nail biter. It certainly isn't boring yet. Fair play to Max, he has seen off all his team mates as well being in the hunt still. Lando needs to keep a cool head for the next two (even three) races, can he?
