While I'm glad Jak is concerned about the dropping deep after taking the lead, we were also giving up a lot of chances before we scored too..

 

Jist to be clear I was taking the piss, haven’t listened to Burnsy since he was on Blunderside, and no idea what he’s said.

 

It’ll be typical us to go and win these “harder” games next time out.

Our forward line polished a bit of a turd today.

I don't think we were really at it.

 

Kind of mad to think Joffy has as many goals as Diame or Jelavic scored.

Also for all the hype, am I missing something or wasn't that Slater's 201st appearance for us in all comps? Coyle's 200th coming up against Ipswich though.

Desperately need McBurnie back, absolutely nothing holding the ball upfront and as mentioned prior helps out with defending set plays too.

 

When will he be back though ? Seemed like a fairly minor injury at the time
but it's just dragging on and on

We let two decent back four players go in the summer, Jones and McLoughlin.

 

Does standing up clapping in front of a radio or laptop count?

 

We do need him back but we're still scoring goals. I think we've got enough to shore up midfield and defence without having to over-rely on McB's undoubted defensive qualities. I think it's equally if not more important to get Lundstram back.
Also good to see Destan score again. Like his other goal, put it in the right place for him and he puts it away, no messing.

 

Tigerbase has him at 201, which is why I was asking. Of course that could be wrong.

It would be ... but ...... I sense they will be the proverbial 'step too far' and realistically fear we could well lose all 3. We've done incredibly well considering who we've had missing, and, although we may see 3 of the 5 (McB, Belloumi, Lundstram) feature in the match day squad they won't be up to speed and will likely only play bit parts if any. And now we lose Crooks too. January onwards could be quite something IF we can get and keep them all fit.
