Didn't see any of the game as sorting out our road trip for next May.....Will have to find a bar in deepest Spain for the play offs....

Cracking good win against a team that had been in decent form.....

    Well done lads...

    I really enjoyed that
It is easier to enjoy when we win obviously. But ir was a very entertaining match and so good to twice come from behind..
Hamer should have saved their first...but Hulls second was an excellently worked goal , but JCS should have got infront to stop their forward scoring.

Ours were well worked. At the top of the loft we wondered why people were celebrating when Dunne put it "well over the top", took us a while to realise he had looped it in.

Kolli did very well when on.
    Dembele was a problem
Mbengue as a back and Dunne works.

Just now worried about Kone...Kolli deserves to start midweek

A perfect example of how utterly ****ing **** most of this league is and if we can just play to vaguely close to this group’s potential going forwards and be something occasionally bordering on competent at the back we’ll go far.

    Blackburn 2-0 QPR

First game i haven't got up in the middle of the night to watch. Very pleasing to see we had a win and so much attacking play.
With the cricket and this is a very nice weekend.. :1980_boogie_down:

After today's excellent performance I would you think that we might finish in the top 10 at least

Think you’ve answered you own question with Hull being a the play offs and 9 teams within 3 points of sixth place.

It’s a crap league with lots of similar crap teams. Win 3 on the bounce and you are in the play offs, lose 3 looking at Sheff Utd results. Having 3 really weak teams relegated has shown the true level of this league, Cov aren’t that good but are walking it. We’ve beaten 3 of the teams in the play off places and drawn with the other one but I think that’s because they are not very good, not because we are brilliant.

If Carlsberg made days out at the football.....

Four trepidatory pints beforehand, then 1-0 down, 2-1 down and finally a 3-2 win, followed by four celebratory pints afterwards.

Perfect. This is why I still do it.

    Just watched Burrell's goal.
I thought at the time he took it calmly, now realise its because he thought he was offside and tapped it in stress free.
Think he's done really well over the last few months.

Haven't seen a replay of Kolli's chance, at the time I thought the keeper made a good save but shouldn't have stood a chance.

Really good spirit in the second half, thought we made some terrible decisions in the first half.

Overall we deserved the win and probably should have taken a few more chances.

Burrell has been excellent throughout, whilst Kone, after starting like a train, has gone downhill.

Really good to see Kolli get on the pitch today, much better him than Frey.

To me, Hull represented everything that's wrong with modern football. Stultifyingly boring with their passing across their back four and keeper. Admiittedly, they scored in the second half after sending our lot to sleep, but **** off, no one wants to watch that ****, surely? On MOTD they'd call it 'playing properly', but it's dire. Pep Guardiola almost killed football entertainment, but we showed in the second half how exciting attacking football can be.

    Must check the Xgs.

An off day for them for sure. They’ve had 55 goals in their 16 games which is second only to Coventry (who they drew 0-0 with) so they must have been fairly exciting games but I agree they looked quite slow and unadventurous with the ball. I’d like to think that was mostly due to our more thoughtful pressing rather than chasing everything and being carved open easily.

McBurnie out who I’ve never been a fan of but apparently has been good and they rested Ajayi at the back after playing two hours for Nigeria midweek who I think would’ve competed better with Burrell.

    The xG was great.

That's it, though. When we sat back and allowed them to pass it amongst their back five, the game died. Unwatchable.

Good passing stats for them though, no doubt.
