Mirko was impressive in the bleep test. I wouldn't have guessed that.

They'll all be trying to stand out for the new boss.

Clement at the presser live now:

"There is nobody who can put me under more pressure than myself. In football, I want to win every game. If that is not the case, then I will analyse why we didn't win. We go full throttle for the win in Birmingham. It's a good team with good ideas - but we will go full throttle.

It's not the first time I've come into a club during a season, which means the situation isn't what the expectations were inside in the club. It's a very important point for me. I'm engaged in the environment - not just the team - but also about the fan. I'm from an era where we had fans forums with supporters in between games. The people here have been open and honest about the difficulties. It's easy to sell your club to get your manager in and hide everything, but they haven't done that. They've been open. I'm confident we can turn the situation around."

Can somebody please update me (and others) on the injury situation. I know Crnac is out for the season.

Actually, from that list of players out only Crnac, Diallo and possibly Cordoba and Chrisne would be expected to start. It possibly is not that bad in reality.

In his 1st press conference, Clement said there were 9 players out, same as above list except for Mahovo who is out, but did not name Myles in that list

Does anybody know if some of the above are out of contract at the end of the season?

Are we giving the new gaffer a free hit today? I see it as one, with the midweek game with Oxford being the one where he makes his mark

Well, he's adamant that he doesn't like losing, so I don't think he sees it that way. He's had 4 days training with the squad so we'll have to see. I'd be happy with a draw, but very excited if we win. The fightback starts here.

The new boss mentioned several times that 82% of goals conceded happened in the second half.

    That is abysmal

Best not to read what Mourinhio thinks of Clement. ' inflexible ' and ' puts philosophy before winning ' are just two of the comments quoted in the European sports media. Obviously something rattled Jose's cage!!
