The most outrageous thing about that bit of food is that 2kg is deemed enough for 6 adults... I'd have half of it for breakfast on Xmas day. Actually, why do Sky and other news sources, always describe British ppl as being outraged over things that are mildly surprising, such as a more expensive beef wellington.

Got absolutely mullered after a bottomless brunch in the 2 tailed lion and Rutland and Derby one weekend. Tend to be popular with the puffby crowd particularly when the tigers are playing at home they both get absolutely rammed. Rutland and Derby is too quiet for my liking although quite a nice pub for a city.

Never been in the blue boar.

Blue Boar's worth a look, very small and it was packed, mostly with old folk (like me :emoticon-0100-smile), this was during the afternoon.

It must have been a bugger to move it from the Watford Gap to Leicester City Centre!

Best thing about winter is the old winter comfort dishes come out, boeuf bourguignon in this case.

Nice. I've got a chorizo sausage I was supposed to put in it but I forgot. Bit gutted about that but still turned out tasting nice.
