Morning - drove down to South Wales last night - middle daughter is going to the Wales v All Blacks (mis) match tomorrow - stuck in stationary traffic for over an hour in the roadworks around Bridgend after a couple of knobheads managed to have a bump just after midnight - but at least only have to work until lunchtime today - every cloud :)

I have to drive through that, morning and evening, every ****ing day.

M4 South Wales drivers are some of the worst I've ever experienced, middle or outside lane hoggers.

I actually had to flash a bint police woman, in a police car, as she was doing 72 in the outside lane with both other lanes completely empty swaying around. Holding the whole commute up, stupid cow.

It's not Bobby, it's just a little chilly, put a woolly on and it's more like a lovely spring day.

    I love Autumn and Spring.

Generally if it's cold I tend to find a hat is the most essential thing for actually keeping the heat in.

So ive got a teacosy, can't think what the correct name is. No bobble on it though lol...

Apparently my potassium levels are a little high, so chat with doctor tomorrow, oh and cholestrol has gone a bit pear shaped again.

No idea what's caused it (increased potassium) - the natural link would normally be medication you are taking, but all my medication I've been on for absolute ages, so don't get the sudden spike but I'm sure I'll learn all about it once I've spoken to the GP.

What's interesting is the stuff you can and can't have, well not interesting more a pain...

but still, LoSalt that is often promoted as a healthy alternative and I have, contains 51% potassium chloride and is harmful if you have hyperkalemia, according to my research on the topic.

    We live and learn.

My Cholesterol jumped up to 6.0 from 4.6 within 12 months , which was a shock as I was drinking less, cut out the bacon, sausage, pies etc not that I had them that often, the hardest thing to give up was the speciality hams, love that stuff, anyway lost 8kg, thought job was a good un. When I looked closer my good cholesterol had gone from .9 to 1.9 my bad 4.1 from 3.7, so if my good hadn't been so good probably because of the nuts and seeds I was eating, then id have been at 5.0 which is just at the safe level. It seems though no matter what you do for some people you just have high cholesterol, I read a story by Colin Jackson fit as **** ex athlete, he as it, for some people its just hereditary.

My mum used to chuck salt in everything it was only as I got older I started taking it all back out of my diet. Not had what I call Saxa salt for decades, expect it would taste a bit strong to me now, and even if I used LoSalt it would be in small quantities. This potassium lark has baffled me though, although would often be linked to Celecoxib which I take, my only query to that is why now. Been trying to think what else I've had that could tip it over, I love fruit bread and I've read that is high in it, so maybe that - also Kiwi's and Graspes are high in it, something else I consume on a regular basis. Hopefully just a one off spike and will go back down pronto.

Yeah mate, my thinking is at the moment that all this ****ing about with my diet is what's ****ed me up, and sods law tomorrow I'll be given a dietician, not to eat, designated lol. I have felt proper groggy lately I just put it down to my mood, so it's like get out of bed and stop ****ing moaning, but maybe this is why I've been feeling groggy. Proper baffled by it all, not been drinking alcohol recently, no smoking, no takeaways, no bacon, I should be as healthy as ****. Like you say though mate hereditary, my lad and my cousin had serious kidney problems, use to be up Guys hospital **** loads some decades ago with my lad, so not overly surprised on that element of it.
