    Thought we should have one.

I see Wood injured himself in the warmup match in Aus. Bowled 8 overs, as planned, but came off with a hamstring issue, off for a scan. On the upside Stokes took 6 wickets.

I see Smith's had a pre-ashes pop at Monty Panesar. If that's the best he can do, well... Struck me though that nobody remembers, or even knew about, the Panesar thing, but everyone remembers sandpapergate.

It's on TNT Sport, ie not free. I'll be looking at fawanews.sc, if it isn't there I'll be back in bed!

Think Plum is right. I bought SKY the last time the Ashes were played in Oz, tuned in at daft o'clock in the morning to watch it.......and it wasn't on. They'd lost or sold the franchise to TNT and not mentioned it anywhere.
I rang SKY and they told me I could get TNT though them to watch the cricket for another payment, and I'd just subscribed to them for the Ashes so in a huff I cancelled altogether as I thought they'd conned me.
I expected they'd call me back and offer me a deal but they never did and I never did re-new my subscription.

Not sure what to make of it, can’t see past the Aussies atm, but hopefully I’m very wrong.

Just looking back at the wickets. Starc was brilliant but really we batted a bit brainlessly, the few runs we did score were at a 50-over strike rate and is it too soon to send Crawley back home?

australia failed to score a run off the first four and a half overs. i bet that's not happened before.

australia scored off the 28th delivery today, their longest wait in an ashes game. in 2001 they waited until the 18th delivery in the test at adelaide.

if our bowlers had been bowling to our batters there, they'd have taken 4 wickets at least. These lads are going to be ****ed by the end of the 2nd test if we can't get our heads out of our arses and ****ing bat properly. Win toss, bat, back on the hutch inside 35 overs? you can **** off with your bazball bollocks
