So many grifting pricks uploading FIFA gameplay to Youtube to con people looking for highlights right now...

That's the only game in this international break that was really involving, for me.

It’s a shame the play offs are so far away.

Wales and Republic of Ireland both could have benefitted from them being soon.

If they turned the world cup competition into a knock out competition (like the FA Cup) there would be less games for each country to play but each game would be meaningful. At present, it just takes up too much time and many games are just without jeopardy or consequences.

Wait until next year's, with a draw that requires trigonometry to follow...

BBC website has a poll for the best Scotland goal of the night.
I could have gone for McTominay, but had to go for McLean chipping the ‘keeper from the halfway line.
    Tierney’s seems pedestrian by comparison.

    All good for different reasons.

Tierney’s was the most important as it was the third goal.

McTominay’s gave Scotland the perfect start and overhead kicks are always spectacular

McLean’s was from his own half and put the icing on the cake.

3 of the best goals scored by Scots in the same game. Madness

McTominay's was easily the best of the bunch, in my opinion.
Amazing height and power from a fairly inaccurate and paceless cross. Bale-esque.

Tierney's was a superb finish too, but McLean's was mainly down to Schmeichel going for a wander.
I was surprised that he didn't emulate his dad and start slagging off random defenders.

European play-off draw for the World Cup, from the BBC:

    Path A

    Italy v Northern Ireland
    Wales v Bosnia-Herzegovina*

    Path B

    Ukraine v Sweden*
    Poland v Albania

    Path C

    Turkey v Romania
    Slovakia v Kosovo*

    Path D

    Denmark v North Macedonia
Czech Republic v Republic of Ireland*

*The winner of this tie will host the final

Italy, Sweden, Turkey and Denmark are probably favourites, I think.
A lot may depend on Swedish injury recovery, though.
