Obviously I didn’t take the pic because I’d rather eat the pie than take 20 pictures of it.

 

what pie was it?

 

Guinea fowl, leek and mushroom. Was good.

 

Did your other half make it, it looked good.

 

No this was a pub. Went down to St Leonard’s for a few hours earlier near Hastings. Sort of place where I’m both the youngest and darkest person.

 

Not been to St Leonards for decades. I'm not a cricket fan but I'm sure I remember a cricket gound in Hastings, somewhere in the centre surrounded by buildings (my memory of it anyway) then on the outskirts of Hastings where part of it was gradually giving way to the sea (just googled Fairlight) - Use to know a guy who owned a pub in Rye, sold it eventually.

 

Cheese n onion is the best pie filling ever imo

 

As a side dish yeah.

 

Black pudding was a little undercooked for me

 

Wtf is that tomato all about?

 

It had an accident and got plopped there.

 

It's up there no doubt.

 

favourite meat one is keema and potato pasty

amazing

 

would happily have 2 pasties and hot baked beans for a main

winner

a bit of homemade mash on the side just to top it off

 

I'm loving making tacos at the moment but not with those silly crunchy things I fry the mini wraps.
