Frankly, if we win 3-0 he probably deserves a few more games.

 

Maybe they have been on here and decided with Tonda to do a ‘winner stays on’ like we do with the threads.

We would have had 60 odd managers in the last two years.

Well yes, we need to keep seeing if he wins, and if he does then we'll be back to being promotion favourites. I'm just not sure I can work out how winning a game 3-0 away is a bad thing?

 

Isnt “**** it let’s see if this guy wins” the attitude whenever you appoint a manager?

There doesn’t appear to be an obvious no brainer candidate so I don’t really feel like we are missing out on anything by giving Tonda the next 3 games and seeing what happens from there.

If we’d appointed any of the managers Swansea, Norwich or Middlesbrough just appointed there would be loads of people moaning about that as well

It's interesting that people are speculating if we continue to win, but what about if we lose badly? will we have just wasted two weeks?.

 

Possibly, as I say though there doesn’t appear to be a standout candidate so I think it’s worth the risk of seeing what Tonda can do. Spors clearly rates him and there was that post by Blackmore about him seeing him as Stills successor (obviously not this early).

IF the players are happy and playing for Tonda then it seems to me a bigger risk to appoint someone else and having no idea how he’d fit in

 

Exactly this. I mean, Boro are appointing someone who has got two second place finishes in Sweden. A lot of people would be going crazy if we'd done that. He might turn out inspired, or he might completely flop. If Swansea appoint Vitor Matos, he's only been a coach since June, so...

 

Swansea in a very different position to us to be fair. Them making that sort of appointment is in no way the same as one of the most expensive squads in the league doing so.
