Seeing what goes on in Sudan is one of my fears regarding those that come over on a dinghy, surely it's a natural fear, not one to be ashamed of because you might get called racist - if people are butchering one another, how do I know these young men coming here weren't part of that. Like I said, people might not like it, but I feel I have a right to question that. This isn't just a fear pushed by right wing narratives, this is a fear pushed by someone who themself was Sudanese and spoke of the horrors. You'd be lucky as a man to get out of Sudan alive, so how did those coming over make it, were they part of the butchery, maybe not, but when concerns are dismissed with taglines, then it's not exactly reassuring, in fact if anything it makes it worse, because you feel you are not being listened to.
but someone so much as ****ing sneezes in Gaza and the world media and its readers/listeners are all over it.
i struggle to remember there wasn't conflict / war in Sudan at a quick guess i'd go for most of the last 15-20 years
It's ok mate, I'm off to BBC2 now to watch your native countrymen try and qualify automatically for the World Cup.
Yeah I’m not arsed about Sudan. Hope they get it sorted but not that desperate either way tbh. If they’d called it Jewdan it would have got more attention and that’s on them really.
