Yep pretty much what I've read. He knew eventually he'd have to release the files now he's got a get-out excuse. "It's not me, I released them but the FBI have a live investigation (which I instigated) so they can't release everything". I don't think the Yanks will fall for it this time.
Attorney General Pam Bondi last week said the justice department was beginning federal investigations into former President Bill Clinton, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, and others who were mentioned in documents from the Epstein estate that the House Oversight Committee recently released. The House resolution currently says Bondi can withhold documents that "would jeopardise an active federal investigation or ongoing prosecution". It's almost as if they planned it this way.
The left seem to be in a bit of a panic over the files we all want releasing, but for some reason they never did it.
I'm using the common terminology, reality is we're just talking about a ****load of paperwork, photos, videos and emails. More an archive than files per se.
