fuel costs to drive are cheaper solo, and then if theres two of you.. double the train cost. or maybe theres a family of you

if they want more people to use public transport, the prices need halving

£31 quid for the 52 miles Hull to Sheffield makes the £17 for the 24 miles Brid to Hull look reasonable. Not to mention the Scarborough to Hull line is the slowest stretch of line for that distance in the country.

Beverley to Hull return is £9.10 off peak, and £10.80 peak

£3 on the bus, and people still moaned when the subsidised max price went up from £2 to £3.

Stagecoach on the other hand took the opportunity to raise their fares to the max £3

That is a lot cheaper per mile than Brid to Hull return. Still ridiculous though.

And if you find a hotel, you might hear swans and ducks squawking in the next room...

To be fair, that's each way, and takes significantly longer especially at peak times.

Last time I got the bus down Bev Rd, it stopped and had to change to another as the bus driver managed to smash the passenger side wing mirror off on something near the Dorchester hotel. Must have clipped a tree or bus shelter or something.

How'd you figure that? 17/24 is smaller than 9/8

    Just been on Oddschecker...

Current odds for Castle Street development...

Finish ahead of schedule (albeit the new schedule) 6/1

    Finish on time 5/2

Finish late due to snow flakes falling overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning 4/7

Is £31 for a return that expensive?
Realistically, no one on here is going to be able to give you a knowledgeable answer, just an opinion depending on their own experiences and bias. It could be a combination of all three factors - an over-diagnosis, a factor(s) causing higher incidences and greater knowledge of what the condition is.

Think they ought to just drop in and see what condition their condition was in!

Wouldn't that be conditional on what their condition was in? :emoticon-0145-shake
