    A couple of Leeds fans that I play football with seemed certain that he is on £75,000 a week at Leeds. Apparently they were so desperate to get him from Wigan than they offered him £37.5k pw and then with promotion it doubled. Which, if true, is ****ing bananas.

    I'd always be the most boring contest on games like that. Like with Deal or No Deal, whatever the banker offered me first go round I'd take because it was more money than I came in with. Like yep cheers, I'm off, thanks for the £5k and the free hotel room.

    They only give you the money if the episode airs I believe, presumably to stop people just doing something like this. They need it to be entertaining enough to put on TV. A mate went on the Aussie version of The Chase and Tipping Point and was told something like that.
