It would be interesting to see how they manage it, perhaps it would mean a more long term movement of Mayenda to the right side - but I think thats too much striker competition if thats a thing.

Should we sign another striker someone more of the Sidiki Cherif profile who won't be expecting consistent starts would be nicer, a young lad who can come in and play once we eventually sell one of ours.

Guendouzi and Yilmaz would do nicely. One additional central midfielder that is in the Xhaka/sadiki/diarra class, and a versatile attacker capable of playing across the front 3 that is a step up above any of our attackers. Make them both earn their place from the bench to begin with.

also think we might go a bit mad buying 17-20 year olds like Brentford do.

1000% the 2 main positions to target, maybe I'm mad but I don't really want Guendouzi and would prefer we get a left footer to play on the right - but someone versatile and/or comfortable on both feet wouldn't be sniffed at.

Always sceptical of those who scored goals in the Dutch league. Once bitten...

Hmm, RVN United, RVP Arsenal, DB Arsenal. They all seemed to do ok at scoring goals.

That's great but none of them scored any goals for us.

Neither did Jozy Altidore who scored for fun in the Netherlands before we spent a fortune on him
