Anyway tbph Archers, I've seen many a user on here use that term, I'm talking on this actual part of the board, I'm sure I've even seen @Spurlock use it, so do we blame that on him having read the Daily Mail or voting Tory or loving Nigel, which is it?
Well there's banter and there's bigotry, and grey areas in between, but basically there are certain words to be wary of, andwe all know what those words are. Being a pikey, you should know that.
Thing is mate I'm not offended at being called a pikey, I have never been offended by it, but I had to stop other people calling me it in real life because other people were getting offended. I honestly don't care if they even call me a pikey in hate, it's a word, not a stone. it was more Starmer doing anything "controversial" and if he does chances are at the slightest criticism he will promptly disown his previous opinion .
I agree mate and it's part of his character, he don't strike me as always comfortable in the public eye, fidgety and he tries to work hard at it, and when things go wrong instead of thinking calmly and rationally and being prepared to admit he got it a bit wrong, he panics and upsets people, that then makes him worse, even more uncomfortable and more fidgety and then becomes defensive.
