TBF to the team, you mention how we got away with it against Reading and Orient, which we clearly did, but the Burton game, we absolutely played them off the park for the majority of the game but just couldn't finish. Ultimately getting done with a sucker punch. Even Bolton wasn't really a dreadful performance apart from our finishing again, ultimately getting done by a very late but fantastic shot. If we'd picked up 4 points from those 2 games I don't think anyone could say they were undeserved. So for me it's swings and roundabouts... Picked up a few points we didn't deserve and missed out on a few weeks did. Overall I really don't think anyone can complain about where we are right now given the changes we've undergone and continue to go through (though of course many short sighted fans are - our fans like so many others can be right negative miserable feckers eh? ).
Never know where to post these things. A bit stilted by Kpakio, but a good, honest interview. Good insight in to the player and the set up. https://tv.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/videos/edcb21bd-5448-4789-8674-5fa30ee8a77f
Looks like we're getting popular.................... https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/league-one-fixture-alterations-january-february-2026
CCFC giving Doncaster supporters much cheapness as their away following is meagre, Is this a good idea? Dec 13 matchday
Yup! If they don't bring many you don't lose much and if reciprocated, our many more supporters will benefit and possibly more will travel. Win/not lose much.
Yeah, and if our club adopted the same approach to the Vertu Cup, there would have been more than 3,000 there to cheer on the youngsters.
My ticket cost me £10.00. I don't think that's unreasonable. I think the crowd was low as people assumed we would lose due to all our absences and the weather didn't help either. All I can say is the people who chose not to go missed a treat !
Back to the real world. Despite the international break disruption to our own schedule, we're still in the top 6 with at least one game in hand on most - except Revell's Stevenage who've got a game in hand on us and played well earlier on, but have actually looked a bit fragile recently. Noticed we're playing our home and away League One games against them just three weeks apart. It's what the pre-season fixture list's thrown up, but it seems a bit unusual. We're across there on Tuesday night Dec 9th, with Stevenage coming to the CCS for the return 20 days later game on the 29th straight after the season "half way" mark. Lot of football to be played yet, but that pair of games could be a "12 pointer" at the death Any other League One side impressed you recently? Rotherham and Burton have flown up the table. Here's the last 6 games form table - we've certainly not been so good. please log in to view this image
