NHS England is the back room not the frontline but the Tories with a hungry US business community have wanted to run it down and create a business opportunity for years. It’ll happen if Farage gets elected with billionaire backing.

    1. My 3 line post on a message board has fckd the country?
    2. What simple massive productivity improvements are you suggesting?
    3. Are you educated?
    4. Who is 'the left'?
    5. Trump and Farage are attempted insults - how's that?

Your post doesn't make a lot of sense unfortunately.

To the modern left i am not educated, I left school at 16 did apprenticeship in mechanical engineering up, only up to HNC level
Some simple improvements are 5s, ie tidy and sort your work areas. A place for everything and everything in it place. Only have equipment out that you need so not wasting time looking for it.
Why did you bring Trump and Farage up if not to insult.

I guess someone would have to be really really thick not to understand what that meant.

4 of my cousins are doctors - mix of GP and specialist. All of them pushing for a less middle/top heavy NHS for years now.

more front line police would be great, I can’t remember the last time I saw a Bobby walking the beat.

If only everything was so simple.

Of course we need efficiency but cutting all back office support means front line staff have to do the nuts and bolts work taking them off the front line.

Not every thing is simple as populist right wing politicians like to make out. Sadly they spout there ill thought out rubbish and many believe it.

when challenged or put under scrutiny its not feasible or falls apart. Then the false news rubbish starts. Rinse and repeat.

Some should watch the apprentice on Netflix. It gives an insight into Trumps thinking. Our Poundland Trump in Farage just repeats.

It's usually technological advances that mean administration/ bureaucracy can be cut. I suppose AI might be expected to further this.
The problem with cutting administration badly or too quickly, often means, as during the pandemic, govt money was given to what was fraudsters, or is wasted.

The problems of trying to build houses but coming up against nimby ism, or arcane planning laws. Or trying to construct a high speed train line ( which is decades late in starting) but having to spend £100m on a tunnel to protect a couple of dozen bats. The SNP in Scotland of course are banning any nuclear power stations

These are aspects of problems that could, in theory, be solved quickly, to help growth
