He's taken over from Harry Maguire has England's pointer. I'd still recall Harry for this skill alone has Rice lacks the composer to point effectively and doesn't have Harry's menacing edge. That game had the end of the pier show feel about it. Even the home side seemed to wind down after 70mins and think feck it, we're in the play-offs. Why bust a gut?....They could be playing this time tomorrow and still not score.
Have you seen the size of him? None of those short arse forwards can get around him. I'd keep him in.
He is big, but for me he's also slow and a sloppy passer. Add to that their forwards got round him a few times tonight. Have to agree to disagree on this one B&S.
No problem...Yeah, he's a bit slow, and doddery, but one tall fecker... Great at defending corners and attacking corners. We've got better centre halfs, ie Guehi, Konsa but might take him for the height.
Having watched both England's U21 & U17, so good looking players coming through. However, Kone-Docherty of Ireland who is a Liverpool player looks very useful. Emile Heskey lad Regan for the U17's also looks some player.
