Dolphin watch on the pier this Sunday... https://www.durhamwt.com/events/2025-11-16-cetacean-watch-sunderland "You may wish to bring a hat, sunscreen and a drink."
My son asked my advice. He's been baking and followed a recipe for glace icing but it went too runny to use. I said I never measure ingredients for glace icing. I just chuck some icing sugar in a bowl and slowly add water until it's claggy. He followed my method and it worked. He's decided that BBC Good Food would be a lot more useful if they used the word claggy
I can't seem to find the submission date for the AFCON squads. I'm just wondering if Diarra will be fit before they need to be announced, and if he will be risked by them having been out for so long. Additionally, can we block it in any way given the chance of re-injury, as they won't manage his minutes the way we would.
Supermarket car parks. Admittedly it is rare I go shopping but fk me the ones near me are an absolutely naff design. Why can we not have an entrance and a seperate exit. Cars so close together you can barely get a Rizla paper between them when your doing your 5mph trying to park or get out. Just witnessed 5 cars trying to get out of the Co-op car park at the Broadway and it was that bad it was comical. One trying to reverse out and scared to. 2 trying to turn into the same exit turn whilst one was driving in and one doing a 27 point turn to face the right way just to start getting out. If anyone on here is a car park designer I hope your next ****e comes out like a raggy pineapple .
Welcome to my life! I'm in several supermarket car parks every day. Lidl at Houghton le Spring is my most hated. You come off the main road and drive along side the car park and enter at the top end by the store doors. The entrance/exit to the car park is too narrow for two cars to pass safely, so cars get held up waiting for each other and you have to keep an eye on pedestrians crossing the road. You also have to navigate past the separate disabled parking which is also too narrow for two cars to pass safely too. Would have made a lot more sense to have the car entry/exit at the bottom end so there's less congestion around the store doors and it makes it safer for pedestrians.
