Andrew is an obnoxious creep. I was comparing the way words are bandied at some people but not others for similar and worse offences. The grooming gangs are never referred to as ****s and nonces despite their victims being younger than 17. Why you are defending the megalomaniac in the Kremlin is a question. He has paying out millions to mistresses and illegitimate kids. How he does that on top of his other extravagances on a salary similar to our PM? The KGB pension scheme must be a good one.
Terrible how we mistreat and kill magnificent creatures like this. https://youtube.com/shorts/YYlcRSgqyKQ?si=QsytuaaNKAW_AGdW
Went on holiday to Rwanda 15 - 20 years ago and saw them in the forest from only a few feet away - magnificent creatures
That was always one of my dreams to see them in the wild but sadly won't happen now. They're beautiful animals with great characters, I could watch them for hours.
not something I would do now thinking back - it was only a small party of around 10 - some really dangerous mud roads high up mountains heavily cratered with the mini bus rocking from side to side on the edge with large tankers passing on their way to the Congo full of oil - a few had gone over the edge and you could see them hundreds of feet below - we were also left in hostels on the edge of villages whilst the guide said he'd be back in the morning- not sure how safe it was as the locals were staring at you as you ventured into the village to see where you were - it was the first tour done by Exodus to the country so it wasn't really tried and tested - one day we went to see golden monkeys in the bamboo forests another clambering in jungle looking for chimpanzees and colobus monkeys - we must have been scrambling around for 6 to 8 hours with only a small bottle of water each, one couple really struggled - ridiculous really, not forgetting the genocide museum in Kigali, I think a million were killed in 3 months - don't remember marches every week in London about that - however the gorillas as a finale will stay with me forever - long walks into the mountains until we finally came across a family group - got some great photos - well before the day of the selfie - mixed feeling whether people should be getting that close either for safety of for simply leaving them be in their habitat - glad I did it though
What an experience. Jealous. Although there have been very, very few incidents of gorillas attacking a human there have been no recorded incidents of killing a human as far as I know. Apparently showing your teeth, even smiling or laughing, is a sign of aggression to a gorilla.Which makes it sad that when that child fell into a gorilla enclosure they assumed it would harm him and shot and killed it. Especially when you see something like this - https://youtube.com/shorts/2dTsfebDf0s?si=iFuYgrN5eObM8xqx Or this - https://youtube.com/shorts/sbFHTk72llgsi=AJ01qEpFWDAyA56E How about this for a wonderful moment - https://youtube.com/shorts/5I7fzu9FC_g?si=Ogq2uohRosKFFKGB
Went to their shop on Thursday and was told it's an issue they know about and are working on it. Said it was mainly betting sites affected. Anyway still no better in fact it's got worse today is emergency calls only and no Internet. Through another network got to my account on EE they currently can't check network advised to call or text the EE contact 150 which I can't because there's no signal and can't call from another network. ****ing tech when it goes wrong is ****.
****ed a couple in my youth and although they didn't kill me, would have preferred it if they did, when waking up the morning after.
