No thanks, I'm too left wing for some on here, although I like to think I'm a pragmatic left winger. That said I moderated a Hull board for a few years and deleted very few posts, and never banned anyone. I also took the precaution of posting under another account so as to remain anonymous, that way you start with a clean sheet and no one can immediately accuse you of bias from previous encounters. We’ve got a sensible mix on here. We tend to steer clear of politics because we don’t agree. We’ve got 2.5 on the right, a couple on the left, and a strange bloke who throws his toys out of the pram at every opportunity…
I count myself as a blue socialist - look after anyone who genuinely can't look after themselves but expect everyone else to stand on their own two feet without complaint.
Obviously I don’t comment on politics …but there’s an organisation called Blue Labour and I agree with much of what they say. No nonsense about women who can have penises, no nonsense about single men of fighting age being genuine refugees , socially and economically conservative …,this is the Labour tradition I grew up with & can respect.
