The downside is that City play M'boro that evening, could be a good game.
Anyway I'll watch out for a cigar-toting, cocktail-swilling bloke wearing plus fours and swinging a 7-iron

 

I saw them at Nottingham Rock City in their very early days - they were brilliant, I expected a Nirvana-lite type band but they were nothing of the sort, and in that venue, they sounded just awesome.

 

Took my ex to see them in Oslo a few years ago. They were decent, I liked them. My ex loved him, but refuses to even listen to them now because he’s a cheat. It was actually the night before Grohl fell off stage in Sweden.

The biggest disaster was that only took cash, of course they don’t accept cash in Norway at these things, we were dying of thirst in the end.

Sky Arts tonight is Rolling Stones night, various concerts and documentaries.

 

Damn! Would have loved to see this

 

And after those a documentary about The Yardnirds well worth watching if you haven’t seen it before. Great band.
