Yes he is elite. I personally don't think Pep would have got the squad EH inherited to the point we're at now

Newcastle can't get a big name or elite manager, although I don't think any of today's so called greats are anything they're cracked up to be. Pep for example went straight in a Barca then Bayern and off to City after they were established. I think it's more a case of what the club does.

Howes as good as any of them tbh..we're only going to be looking at the likes of Potter and Southgate or maybe some other muppet.

Yeah we’re not about to wheel out Luis Enrique. I think we need the club dynamic to work far, far better - data-led scouting, flexibility from Howe on transfers, tactics and loyalty, better financial management, etc.

That said, we’re way below where we should be right now.

So simple fact is Howe is the best choice right now. But he has to adapt and learn from his very obvious mistakes.

I think he will. I hope he will.

Burn at LB has to stop.
    Gordon up top…. Never again.

And a revamp/reset of the transfer policy.

I honestly don't understand what your issue is with the transfer policy. It baffles me.

Barnes, Elanga, Wissa, Ramsey, etc - millions spent on loading the squad with replicas of the first eleven, limiting our ability to change and focused heavily on PL experience that isn’t yielding results.

Barnes is totally different to Gordon in that he lacks pace and his finishing is far better, Elanga has electrifying pace which Murphy doesn't have, Wissa is completely different to Woltemade, Ramsey probably better than Joelinton technically but too soon to say.

I certainly wouldn't have said we've stacked up with replicas. Are you sure its not jsut because you'd rather have had different names?
