In case people don't know, there's a petition to sack Knapper on Change.org. It's been set up by Bridget, the woman who phoned in during the Canary Call meeting with Attanasio and who almost everyone agreed was mightily impressive as a spokesperson for those of us who want Knapper out. I know petitions are just ignored, and may even be a bad thing because they give the impression of open speech and debate when they are really just a fake veneer, but I've signed it anyway. Every little helps in my opinion. https://www.change.org/p/remove-ben...term=psf_promote_or_share&utm_medium=copylink
Luckily football clubs are not run by fans voting for decisions on or off the field . We are armchair experts
I agree. Fans can voice opinions, but hiring and firing staff at the club is a matter for officers, the Board and the owners.
The petition is not a referendum with the power to hire and fire. It's an alternative to social media -- which many prefer to avoid -- through which people who have no voice on e.g. the Supporters Trust, can let their opinion be known.
