Yeah Trossard's was top bins, great strike. Bullet shot Doku's more of a curling wonder, just edged it.
Doku destroyed Liverpool, Trossards was just bigging it up against the new boys, only reason Trossard could edge it for me, at the end of the season if Arsenal lose the title by two points, we will all look back to that game, So Trossard bookmarked it for us, thinking they had won, until the Sunderland killer punch. So for me it's Doku magic versus a Trossard bookmark. I can see the positives in both.
Are we judging goals on the overall game, it's importance, the player, their performance or simply the Oooftyness of the goal though ? For me, it's about the goal itself. So you could have a game say Burnley v Forest with little consequence for the title but if somebody scores a blinder then that's what counts.
If it's quality of goal then it's Sunderland bro, that equaliser was something else...a quality two points snatched from the hands of the Gooners, snatched....like the ground had just opened up and swallowed Arteta's dream... I agree true quality that.
Think Windy put forward an Oooft contender from League 1 a couple of weeks ago This is what I'm talking about, the Oooftyness of the actual goal itself. Also then opens it up to all types of games, rather than just the Bantzy goals Although, Bantzy + Ooft goals would be make great contenders for ticking both boxes This is a complex subject that requires proper consideration
You won’t be surprised to hear that I’ve scored both types back in the day in my Sunday league career tough choice there’s definitely an Ooofty feeling about both of them hmmm Yeah Doku is it is then I guess
I've scored a few like Doku's. In off the inside of the Puma bag instead of the post though. Yeah two good Ooofty contenders this week.
Ah yeh back back in the day playground career I think I scored over a 1000 goals in my playground career was like Maradona tbh when I look back
