    I've been thinking how so many of the artists I like tend to come from the same areas, Boston, Portland and Minneapolis in the States, Auckland, Brisbane and of course London, Liverpool and Manchester.
    So I thought i'd do a bit of an alphabetical tour of particular favourite artists from a list of cities starting with Aberdeen.

    Today we head to Akron, Ohio.

    Firstly it's the birthplace of rock goddess Chrissie Hynde who has basically been the Pretenders all of these years...

    Reminds me of one of my best Glasto experiences, Ian Macnabb with Crazy Horse as his band. Head like a Rock was the album they played on.
