Very little information on his transfer was ever released, but it would be realistic to expect some kind of sell-on when a player goes from a Premiership academy to a Championship team. Fee was rumoured to be £2m but all official sources listed it as undisclosed so we really don't know.

As long as they don't have a buy back clause, we'll be fine.

They could have a £20m buy back clause and still wouldn’t bother <laugh>

    Gabriel, Saliba, Hincapie, Mosquera, White…

    If I went through the starting XI from Arsenal right now and valued them at their base value, simply rated by myself;

    Roefs - £25 mill
    Hume - £15 mill
    Ballard - £ 22 mill
    Geertruida - n/a
    Reinildo - £5 mill
    Mukiele - £26 mill
Xhaka - £13 mill (priceless in reality)
    Sadiki - £30 mill
    Le Fee - £20 mill
    Traore - £4 mill
    Isidor - £15 mill

Youre talking a base value of 175 million for the 10 players we fielded that we own. Thats with 3 players unlikely to be sold on, hence their low values (Xhaka, Reinildo and Traore) and the fact we dont own Geertruida as of right now.

That is without taking into consideration we had no Alderete, Talbi, Diarra or Brobbey, as well as Rigg and Mundle etc...

And thats just bottom value! I said some low values there, I think at least one of those lads will be sold for double that value in the next two years.

In terms of the fees I see some of our players leaving for, IF they can keep this up for the next 1 to 2 years...
    Roefs - 30-40 mill
    Sadiki - 50 - 80 mill
    Talbi - 40- 60 mill

Could see it maybe pushing up on 30 at the moment but just think there are a whole lot of unknowns about him to be looking at 40+.

End of the be season could be a different story altogether.

I’m adding the ‘we have no intention or need to sell’ factor to these.

£40m might be a bit rich but it’s not a complete fantasy.

If he stays fit and qt this level £40m might sound a pinch. We can’t undervalue the lads that were here before summer.

Nordi and Omar have been brilliant, but when he’s been in the side nobody has been as dominant and influential at both ends as Big Dan.

Agree with the majority of those mate. Certainly don’t agree with the £40m+ talk about Ballard currently.

Its hyperbole mate, but that also can have a great effect, we have seen it so often, clubs overpay. I think if he was eligible for England then you'd get 40 no bother.

    For sure.

When I say £40m I’m saying what I reckon it would take us to sell. Actual value is far lower but you don’t sell something you want to keep for what it’s worth, you only sell it at a premium.

I think Dan could easily play for England currently, were he eligible. We aren’t crawling with top end CB and I can’t think of any in the current crop that can dominate like Dan.

Thats it mate, its all well and good saying Isak isnt worth 100 mill or, Jobe isnt worth 30 mill, it doesnt matter...what matters is who wants them and what theyre willing to spend!

I think if we outdo ourselves this season and finish say...8th? You are talking probably 3 or 4 lads garnering interest that will then force our hand into strong valuations, as I have already said, I am expecting huge money for Sadiki.

As a young, English, goal scoring colossus of a centre-half, I reckon BDB is easily worth £40m already.

Does it not still count as homegrown though mate, I don’t know?. That adds millions on to a performing PL player. I’d be gutted if BDB or any of the regular performing u25s left for less than £40m. Any whoo I’m sure KLD and co know this and want to build to challenge regularly the top 8 not sell to survive.
Somehow through all the adversity we’ve ended up with the dream owner.
