I pulled a trick on my best mate out here on Tuesday. It was to do with food and him thinking he was getting something which wasn’t actually there. It was harsh but he took it like a champ and it was quickly forgotten about. On Friday night we were out having drinks and he came up and told me tell him when I’m ready to leave and our driver would go and pick up a girl for me and then collect me on the way and take us to where we are staying. He’s never let me down with this so I stuck my thumb up. After a couple drinks later I told him I was ready to leave… The car came with the girl in and because I knew the driver, I jumped in the front and chatted to him all the way down. Didnt even turn around to say hello to the girl. Pull up at the house and there’s no power, street lighting, electricity. Everything is pitch black. We go straight to the bedroom and have our night, before I passed out asleep, I told her she was that good, I’d be seeing her a second time. I woke up in the morning and it was dark but just starting to break, so I jumped in the shower (always cold)d went back to the bedroom afterwards when it was quite light. I sprayed some nice deodorant and jumped into bed. I shook her shoulder and said you still coming to see me a second time, as she turned around saying ‘ya mon’, I got a shock, she looked like something you would expect to see lining up for the Cameroon international women’s rugby team. I shouted my mate like a kid would shout his mother and he came in soon afterwards laughing his head off. He’d got me back good. Apart from that it’s rough here. People are struggling for food and money. Prices are going up. No power. Water is back on now but cold only. A lot of crime is happening. I think I’m going to hang around for a couple more weeks and then get myself home.
Through boredom, I have booked a two week stay at the start of next years summer holidays in Newquay in a hot tub lodge. Have a group of friends who will be down also over the course of three weeks so plenty of people to annoy/fob kids off to

Some proper traveling now. In guilin/yangshuo to see some kharsts. Proper village life here, farm land everywhere, the occasional cow, alpaca, chickens. I even saw some farmers herding ducks. Sort of place pinkie would like to ride his bike. Still though there's cars and taxis everywhere though and **** tons of scooters that half go on the road and half go on the streets threatening to run you over. You get used to it and the beeping which is constant as they use it to warn they are coming rather than telling you to f off. A show i watched that used the natural river as a stage A cave i went to
