Here's a question

Why is it that the added time for the second half is so often much more than the added time for the first half?

 

It could be partly because there are more second half substitutions though that only explains part of it.

 

Also, as the game wears on there is usually more time wasting if one team has gone ahead.

 

As players tire, things slow down. Also there's much more "game management" during the second half, and then there's the aforementioned substitutions.

 

I think the clock should be managed by an official off the pitch and visible to all

 

Or like in rugby could they stop the clock if the ball is out of play maybe to prevent people messing around time wasting?

 

Come on guys there is only one reason

If Watford are winning there is always a minimum of 5 minutes or until the opposition scores

If Watford are losing it will be 3 minutes

 

And the 4th's board must be read aloud by all spectators in questioning tone.
