Why is it that the added time for the second half is so often much more than the added time for the first half?
It could be partly because there are more second half substitutions though that only explains part of it.
As players tire, things slow down. Also there's much more "game management" during the second half, and then there's the aforementioned substitutions.
Or like in rugby could they stop the clock if the ball is out of play maybe to prevent people messing around time wasting?
Come on guys there is only one reason If Watford are winning there is always a minimum of 5 minutes or until the opposition scores If Watford are losing it will be 3 minutes
The overtime last Friday was disgraceful. Only 5 minutes added yet there were 9 subs at 30 secs each and then injury time, Selvic alone was down twice for at least 2 mins each time plus other injuries, there should have been at least 9 or 10 mins. I wondered if the issue was because it was live on TV so limited added time due to their schedule. Added time is made up of substitutions, goals, injury time & time wasting . Think that's it!
